The BRFST Board decided in March 2011 that a conference will be organized by BRFST once in every TWO years. This meeting will be called the "BRFST Biennial Conference (BBC)" and is aimed at showcasing the work carried out in the various R&D projects sanctioned by BRFST.

The 1st BRFST Biennial Conference (BBC-2012) is slated to be held in April 2012 at the Institute for Plasma Research, Gandhinagar.

Who can participate ?

PI's, Co-PI's and project staff of ALL BRFST funded project are expected to participate in this meeting. Other individuals from academic / industry wishing to take up projects under BRFST are also welcome to attend.

Contents of the meeting :

The main content of the meeting will be presentations (both oral / poster) by PI's of the projects sanctioned under NFP by BRFST.  The meeting will also have Invited talks on a few core topics relevant to fusion science & technology. 

Mode of presentation :

The conference will have both oral and poster presentations.
